We didn’t realize it was so close to the Village Anchor Restaurant that we frequent. In fact we passed it up initially since the sign is rather small and the GPS directions wasn’t as clear as it could have been. However, once there it’s a lovely 2.1 mile walk that loops around. Several folks were there taking advantage of the sunshine and pleasant weather. We will have to come back in the fall to experience the change of colors and cool, crisp weather. The main path is paved which is a convenience especially for those on bicycles and days when rain has made most paths too muddy for walking. This is a nice hidden gem in the suburbs of greater Louisville.…

I took the trail for the first time today and wow was I impressed. It is very neatly maintained and just beautiful. Anchorage did a wonderful job of carving out this magnificent place right in the middle of their city. The trail can be used for walking or bikes and has markers to tell you the distance you've traveled. It is also used as a dog walk and there are bag stations along the trail for people to use. They seem to let all the tress, plants and shrubs grow in their natural state which sets this park apart from others. This is a great place to get away from it all and it makes you feel like you are in the country.…
