Yes, I'd say it worth while to drive up to or at least pass by this statue. It is visible from a long distance and is an important sign to the Koreans.

This statue is next to the main statues of the leader of north korea and represent the quickly of the construction of pyongyang after the japanese bombing. They rebuilt the city within 10 years... Really nice trip experience.

You'll see the Chollima Statue when you visit the Mansudae Grand Monument. And while it's a neat statue, it's really not as impressive as the statues of Kim Il-Sung and Kim Jong-Il.

Everything in DPRK has to be grand and this is yet another massive statue on a grand scale. This one at least with considerable artistic appeal.

The story of this warrior that ride thousands of Km to defend the land is amazing. Its also important for North Koreans. Thats why he is next to the great leaders

another famous statue in the city, its even on the money. its next to the park which is nice and its a pretty cool statue. theres also some cool posters and the bottom.
