Its under construction

This is the main square of Tirana.It is a must see.This place is currently under construction,so it will be a surprise to check it out

The square is one of the main attractions! It's under construction now but you must go and start the walk around Tirana from this square!

The square is probably the best place to get a good overview of Albania's history and culture, but right now, it is undergoing major restorations and all the buildings, statues, etc. remain accessible, but one requires to make little detours here and there. The whole square is hidden behind construction gates and walls, albeit covered by pretty panels depicting what... More

It is under the renovation which for sur will make it more beautiful. It is trademark of Tirana and lovely place.

This monument is the face of Albania. Skanderbeg is the National Hero of Albania, which represents the history of it. Must see!

We have been there during the renovation...so unfortunate. Looks like a great place and historical location. Hope they'll renovate it soon and it that it will look superb.

The square is a big open space and the building work was just starting when we visited-this could blight the area for a while.

The central square of Tirana which is quite big with many historic buildings around and many many cars doing the cycle of the square.In a few months a new underground parking will be open from the municipality of Tirana

Construction site effectively at the moment though can still access the National Museum through gate near the Albanian University/ tourist office.
