Another quaint artifact, close to the other attractions. It is the only bridge remaining from the Ottoman occupation. It does not span the river anymore, but remains a tourist attraction and a shortcut for walkers .

Walked over it without realising it's significance. Cobbled and historical. At the end of pedestrianised area.

The Tanners' Bridge (Albanian: Ura e Tabakëve) is an 18th-century Ottoman period stone footbridge located in Tirana, Albania. The bridge, built near the Tanners' Mosque, was once part of the Saint George Road that linked Tirana with the eastern highlands. The road was the rout by which livestock and produce entered the city. The bridge crossed the Lanë stream near... More

The bridge is typical from roman era and has a very nice shape. The bad thing about it is that it's fully surrounded by buildings...You can't see it properly and enjoy it as it should.

Recognised this bridge from my research into Tirana Sites. Quaint and pretty but hard to walk across. This bridge is at the end of a lovely pedestrianised street.

A small but charming small old bridge which you can pass if you want. It is at the end of Rruga Murat Toptani, the new pedestrian street. It was the only anicent thing which I have seen during my 5 days stay in Tirana and I was pleased.

Not much to tell except for that the original bridge dates from the 18th century. It was mainly used to bring livestock to the city centre. It was restored in the 1990´s for pedestrians. The bridge itself is really cute, but equally small. It´s worth seeing if you are in the area, but wouldn´t recommend it if you have to... More

The bridge itself is quite beautiful but it is in normal use and therefore in risk to deteriorate. Also the surroundings are a bit strange; next to a modern bigger bridge and shabby neighbourhood. I suggest to go and see it before it falls down (which I'm honestly afraid of - not that it would be unsafe at this moment!).

Just a tiny abandoned bridge right next to a busy road. You'd miss it if someone didn't point it out. Don't waste your time especially looking for it...
