This is a beautiful medieval town a short drive away from Mostar worthwhile visiting. It is like traveling through time, one can see the old houses with their peculiar roofs made of flat stones and the city walls although not all of it is well kept.

If you like a climb then this will keep you busy for a couple of hours. Interesting old place again worth spending time wandering around.

Amazing atmosphere. Take a hike to the old tower and follow the windy paths to the Pasha platform for a great view. Super scenic site and well worth the time and effort to stop by. We spent an hour and a half there and enjoyed it a lot.

Had a 30 min stop at Pocitelj on a day trip to Mostar from Dubrovnik. The small town has some great history and buildings including Turkish baths, mosque (cost of entrance EUR1.50), bell tower. There appears to be no effort at present to protect and preserve these lovely buildings and they desperately need some TLC to ensure they are able... More

The town is not too great. We didnt even feel like stopping our car (was getting a bit late). But didnt feel so special. It is on your way to Mostar and thus can be a stop if you have alot of time.

This is an old village near Mostar. You can take a half-day tour walking around. - There's a fortress on top and it has a great view looking down the surroundings. - You will see a great view either on top of the fortress or around the wall on the right. - Inn restaurant Han seems to be the historic... Visited Pocitelj on the way to Mostar. A village built of stone, narrow street which leads up to the tower on the hill, where amazing views can be seen looking down onto the Neretva river and the village from above. There is a mosque to visit 1.5€,, not very big but worth a visit. There is a cafe at the... More

A fortified town in the beautiful Neretva Valley, this place is utterly beautiful, enchanting and feels like walking straight back in time. In order to climb up to the most striking tower in the town it's an exceptionally steep climb and we were pretty pleased that it was a somewhat overcast day otherwise it would have been even hotter! Thanks... More
