This is the first place to start a tour of Zagreb. The old clock is a meeting point for both and young & old. Has train connection to all parts of Zagreb.

What I really liked about the square was that it is used for a variety of events and shows that can really brighten up a weekend in Zagreb when everything else is closed. When we were there there was a traditional dance troupe performing, a temporary market selling local foodstuffs, and buskers in various costumes. If you have children it... More

This square is in the heart of Zagreb. A number of hotels, shops and restaurants are in this area. An unusually large number of shoe shops are found in and around this square. Most of the trams will pass through this square. A cool way to spend an evening in zagreb.

This is where our walking tour started. Our guide told us of the history of the square & all the changes it's gone through the centuries. From there you can go anywhere & the tram runs right through the square. It's the hub of the city!

This is the main square of Zagreb. There's a market open during the day where you can find food and souvenirs. Many trams stop there. The most touristic streets with bars, restaurants and shops are next to it. Free walking tours start there. Great spot to start a day of walking around!

A good vibrant street. This place is like the center of Zagreb where the old meets the new. The square itself has a lot of booths opening and close by, there're Dolac market and the shopping malls.

Good starting point to explore the town of Zegrab. A very easy city to get around with the help of a city map. Many sign posts give direction to points of interests. Tourist information centre located in square. Large map of the city in front of tourist information centre. Quite a few currency exchange, offering good rates, are located in... More

The Square really is the life centre of the city. From this point is where the main areas of Zagreb are divided into the Upper and Lower towns, and it is a great place to get your bearings. Plenty of food, accommodations, shopping and activities surrounding the square. The tourist information centre can also be found in a corner of... More

This is a nice place to start your tour of Zagreb. You will find the Ban Josip Jelacic Monument (statue of man on a horse) is an ideal meeting spot. There are lots of tourist vendors and nearby restaurants.
