Absolutely interesting. Few artists but large collection in fantastic surroundings. Don't try the cheese cake in the cafe

We did not plan to visit but found while walking round the outside of the parliament building, which was closed. We got in an hour before closing on 31st December at 1pm. Nice collection on each floor which we could only access via the glass lifts at front of building.mc We don't find stairs. I really liked the lay out... More

If you like contemporary art like I do, you should visit the museum; if you do not know if you like it, than you really must visit the museum at least once; you will either feel enthusiastic or amazed by fresh ideas or just impressed by understanding how reality reflects into art or better how Art precedes reality or you... During my visit in Museum, my phone has been broken in the security post during X-Ray scan. The phone fallen on the marble floor right from the scanner. Security told me that I should catch it, the museum supervisor repeatedly threw her phone on the floor to prove that it should not crash the screen and the gardener accused me... More

I went mainly because I wanted to see the building. I do like contemporary art as well. A collection of Romanian and other Eastern European artists made a quite eclectic collection. The main exhibit on the ground floor when I was there was a contemporary and performance artist one of whose pieces consisted of meeting his friends in a square... More

What a walk to get there! So crazy far. It's cheap. But be aware - they don't accept credit cards. There used to be a cafe at 4th floor but it's shut down. The view was supposed to be amazing. It was not. Ok art gallery, strange and not impressing at all compared to what I've seen in Amsterdam etc.... More

This is an ok little museum, located next to the Parliament building. The museum boasts a beautiful façade and features 4 floors (and 2 glass elevators). Exhibitions change a couple of times a year and the ones we saw were ranging from nice to absurd. Entrance is 10 Lei (apx. 2.50 US$) and photography costs another 10 LEi (yet this... More

Placed in an unfortunated spot in the back of Palace of the Parliament (or People's House) This Museum suposed to be our Avangard in Arts. Inpractical, with some very small stears to acces the other levels, it's a place of a past comunist era. A scarf, not a Modern Art Museum.

MNAC, as we call it, is the place where you should find a lot of interesting art and events, but of course, it's not like that. Still, it's an interesting place to visit, though the walk to it is a bit long imho. You will also go through a security check, though they let me in with a screwdriver or... More
