I'm not sure if you can visit the palace inside, but on the outside is absolutely gorgeous. If you're passionate about architecture, I'm sure it will take you at least one hour to look at this building and all the details that impressed me so much.

Many buildings in Bucharest were influenced by close ties between Romania and France, in the late 19th Century. You'll want a picture of the CEC Palace...and you'll understand why Bucharest was once called a 'little Paris'. Sadly the building is not open for touring, but there is plenty to do nearby.

This is a lovely French-style building, which is not accessible to the public for a visit. Furthermore, this time around, the building looked rather dirty from the outside with its walls covered with black dirt and stains. They definitely should do a better work in preserving it. Still, it's really easy on the eye.

A landmark building of the Calea Victoriei. Unfortunately, there is no way to visit the glass dome, as the bank hosted in the building does not allow it.

The CEC Palace structure well situated at Victory Street near the Old Town. The CEC Bank and Museum were operating and we just took a few snapshots from outside due to the shortage of time on our side but the historical building was really beautiful and representative to this city.

The building is very beautiful and is located in Victoria Street, in front of National Museum of History. The construction, which has existed for over a century and has kept its architectural charm and freshness of the times when it was built is an emblematic building of Bucharest.
