Why some people gave it good reviews is beyond me. There is nothing to see there. Now, it is true that there there are not many things to see and do in Bucharest, but this place is really a waste of time.

Been there once and got to enter the church - that seemed to look like a traditional Orthodox church with many paintings decorating the walls. It would have been more interesting to visit the Chamber of Deputies where Alexandru Ioan Cuza was elected in the...More

We couldn’t visit the inside as it was Sunday and there was a mass at the time, we just had a quick look, it looks beautiful. Same for the outside!

place is nicely located and generally quite quiet, event when people visit. it's not what you would expect from such a cathedral, as it looks more like a regular church. still, worth the visit

When I visited there was a service underway so it was not possible to see much, but the inside looked very ornate and worth a return at a quieter time.

Yet another gorgeously amazing church building in the heart of the city. Gorgeous decorations inside and out. The inside is just ablaze with gold leaf The mosaics on the outside are stunningly beautiful and just gleam in the sunlight. You've got to see this.
