Situated in the middle of the city center, there is many pubs, restaurants and shops. Also historical building in the area. But the main attraction is the nightlife with great atmosphere, nice girls and pubs open all night. I strongly recommend for a short trip...More

Do not miss this!if you want to see a piece of history and enjoy a good meal/drink you must visit Lipscani. It is part of the old city and you can walk on the same pavement as our great-great-great grand parents.

Many cafes, restaurants, historical buildings, mines and musicians, some retail shops, and lots of people. Definitely a place to hang out in Bucharest.

It is a nice street. The restaurants are a bit overpriced for Belgrade standards. If it rains, it can get very slippery.

We spent much of our time walking around this attractive area, visiting the sights and dining in fine eateries including the famous Gothic styled Caru' cu Bere. Named after Leipzig in Germany because this was where many of the goods available in the Old Town...More

We've just stayed in Grand Pier hotel, about a ten minute walk from old town but nice and reasonably cheap.
