There wasn't anybody to ask and no signs to tell you where to go. We were looking to rent out bikes but couldn't find them anywhere. The average Romanian does not speak English. It was much too hot to walk and go out in a...More

A nice place to go for a walk, to take a boat ride or to see the Bucharest from the giant Big Wheel.

We walked around for exercise, saw a music concert, went to the Hard Rock Cafe, people were fishing, picnicking, and there were food vendors on the weekend. Always things going on.

It is a nice park, central location, too crowded for my like. I was having a nice walk in the evening until I realized that I was under poop attack from the tens of birds stationed in the trees. An umbrella would help.

Nice park, with restaurants, night clubs, boat rentals, etc. If you wish to breathe some fresh air in the city or take a relaxing walk or jogging, you should visit this park. It is very nice also in the night, especially in the summer.

This is on of the biggest parks of Bucharest. You can relax or have a drink at one of the bars/restaurants. Is very good for a walk or relax on the lake by renting a boat.

Very good for kids, parents and for all. You could bike here, have a gym spot with some devices for fitness, a lake and lot of vegetation. And have some restaurants with outside terrace.

If you want to have a nice and quiet walk, to relax outside, far away from the traffic and the noise of the city this park is the ideal choice for this type of activity.

It depends on the time of the year. In summer, there are several restaurants with very nice terraces at the lake, or just terrases. I can reccomend Il Locale, Funky Club, Nuba, Biutiful. If winter, you can try La Brasserie... More

If you enter by the Arch, you are not very far from the Elisabeta Palace - by the way, this palace is inhabited currently by the former king Mihai I and is not for public visiting any more, as far as I know, but I might be... More
