Perhaps it was just the glorious sunshine on the day of our visit, but the park was beautiful, it was fairly busy with bikes and runners passing every minute or so, and a large number of locals fishing in the lake. It is definitely worth...More

I spent an afternoon on this park. It was so beautiful ! Very well kept, peaceful and with a lot of options to eat. You can also reach the Hard Rock Cafe in one of the sides.

The park is very large! Great place for a jog or to admire the view, but not the cleanest. Still, a nice place to relax.

Herastrau is the second largest park of Bucharest with lots of water as a river is crossing it. The South and the West side are the wider parts. On the est side it's full of very fancy and expensive restaurants and bars.

I used to come here quite often during my stay in Bucharest. It is so peaceful. You will be amazed about how relaxing could be a walk in this park so close to the town so far from the traffic.

The park is great. You can take a boat for half an hour on the lake. Walk or run in the park. There is a small farmer's market and you can go for a picnic. Loved it.

Beautiful large park in the town. Even in heavy rain it was still stunning October. Plenty of red squirrels around. Hard Rock Cafe is located in this park and a short walk from the Arch de Triumph. The hop on hop of bus stops along...More

It depends on the time of the year. In summer, there are several restaurants with very nice terraces at the lake, or just terrases. I can reccomend Il Locale, Funky Club, Nuba, Biutiful. If winter, you can try La Brasserie... More

If you enter by the Arch, you are not very far from the Elisabeta Palace - by the way, this palace is inhabited currently by the former king Mihai I and is not for public visiting any more, as far as I know, but I might be... More
