The park was designed in 1900 by a French landscape artist and offers magnificent views of large spaces with beautiful vegetation, a lake with boats, monumental statues and various other attractions, as the Technical Museum or a very old and decorative reinforced concrete bridge, built by the Romanian scientist Gogu Constantinescu. At the center of the park there is a... More

This park is pretty big all built towards the huge monument at the top of the steps. The view over Bucharest is great on a clear day with the Palace in the distance. Lots of busts, sculpture etc. too look at on the way round and a small museum near the entrance. Worth a walk upto the top of the... More

It's good sometime to escape from commonly used recreation points. Very large, nice park with a lack, tall green trees and hills, with some restaurants & hotels aside and not remote from city downtown (10 minutes walk from Parliament Palace)

One is Cantacuzino water fountain - historical monument, the other one is the bridge wich is over 100 years old. In this park are some birds especially around water areas - you can take nice... This park is well situated with easy access and many parking places. It is interesting to watch the guards. Good for families also.

This is the park that I usually run in so I know it pretty well. It is a more quiet park, compared to other big parks in Bucharest but there are still some activities to be done (boating, there is a museum right in the park, the mausoleum on top of the hill).

A bicycle can be used only in week days, too crowded in weekends. It has also some places to eat but avoid Dines during your walks...too busy and very bad service. You... More
