Actually went looking for the Sunday market at the park entrance and was expecting a grotty, badly-kept little park. We walked to the park and were disappointed by the market. The park, however, was a revelation. It was much bigger than we expected with a...More

A large and beautiful park inaugurated in 1906 and named after King Carol I. It has many gardens, fountains, statues and the Mausoleum. Now it's a favourite place for locals.

The park is really big and you have enough space for jogging, for roller skating, quiet walks or intensive workouts.

This was a really nice walk from our hotel and a lovely place to visit. I am so impressed at how well maintained all the parks and historical places are kept.

Another fantastic park situated very close to the centre of Bucharest. Great place if you love just a leisurely walk and very clean also.
