There’s a giant skeleton (Whale? Squid? It definitely had tentacles and more bones than necessary while alive…) down at the bottom of the Caspian Sea that nobody knows how it got there. Water sluices through its massive ribcage festooned with stringy masses of bacteria, which provide an ecosystem for a family of aquatic flatworms and a plump Medusa jellyfish. No... More
