but you should understand that this is a very long and steep descent (and accordingly, the rise), so in winter it can be very slippery, be careful

Spectacular building , had our photo taken with it in the back ground . You can walk up to the terrace where the entrance is for free but need to pay to enter.

You will have to pay a small fee for entrance but it is totally worth it. What an amazing church, just wow!! also you will have a wonderful view over Kiev from Andriyivski Uzviz.
