Lots of military kit but lacking in information in english. Still for the paltry entrance fee it is worth a look. I paid for the photography pass and took a few snaps.

Obviously, the museum is not tailored to Foreign English tourists as everything is in Ukrainian. It would have been good if they had written text in English also, so that you know what the various artifacts meant. There is a bit of history, but nothing...More

This museum painted a fairly comprehensive view of the war as lived by the Ukrainian people. It is large and laid out in different sections devoted to various aspects of the war. As an American, I am familiar with the war from the US perspective....More

The place explains very well the history of Ukrainian people throughout the establishment of the country. Although there are few parts in the museum that are not for children experience.

Definitely recommend to visit, if interested in military stuff. It's also extremely cheap to sit in Mig 23 jet for 5 minutes ( what was my dream) :D

Must see in Kiev. There is a lot to take in and the outside features break up the day for younger children. Different prices for things but very cheap. Would recommend paying for the panorama viewing platform at the base of the motherland statue's feet...More

This place was cheap to get in and was a good mini excursion to do in this part of Kiev. Didn't spend more than 30 minutes there as there was no need to and if you want to have a tour of the Dakota plane...More

Most of them outside - technique. Smaller War Museum is inside. We were there for about 2-3 hours.

Yes I agree you need 2 to 3 hours, mainly because much of it is outside and spread around and the hill top park it is in and the views it gives are a large part of the visit
