Amazing what a man can do

It is a unique collection of exquisite craftsmanship. Golden shoes on a flee, 0.8mm book, tiny sail ship, etc.

I was convinced going in that this would be one of those:odd: museum that really had nothing real to show...how wrong I was. This is worth a visit, it is fascinating and must be here as the monastery is the most visited tourist attraction in Kiev. The collection is fascinating, amazing miniatures and incredible how he made them. Take time... More

We wandered in not knowing how amazing this place was, The art was done on a human hair, little gold boots on a flea! and must be viewed thru a magnifing lens. It is a must see on any trip to this area. It was sad to see the photos on the floor in the center of the room showing... More

This is a quick stop inside the Pechersk Lavra complex. It requires a separate ticket but the cost is low and it's worth seeing. This stop will take 20-30 minutes. The miniatures are amazing and the artist is frequently on site. He is a very friendly and gregarious man and I was glad I got to meet him. We had... More

It took me several minutes to orient myself to what I was seeing. The microminiatures are absolutely amazing. We were in a hurry and spent only about 30 minutes in the museum, but I could have stayed for much longer!

Wonderful little treasure trove of a museum. The place itself is really dated and may not look like much, but the works are definitely timeless and pretty remarkable.

This museum contains minute exhibits which you view under various stages of magnification. It is inside the Kyiv Pechersk National Historico-Cultural Preserve, so you have to pay admittance to that first before you can get to the museum. The small scale of the models and objects produced by Mykola Syadristy are mind-boggling. It is well worth a visit it you... More

I was told by my guide before going in that I was going to like this museum alot. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was honestly blown away by the exhibits. Can't believe how anyone is able to create such teeny-tiny microscopic intricate sculptures that is impossible to see to the naked eye. Crazy amazing. The entrance fee... More
