Best architectural dimond

While the Church has been under the renovation for a long time, it is still worth to be visited. Most probably, you will not be allowed to enter.

If you have the time in Kiev, then this is recommended. It has some great views of the city from this hill, plenty of places to look around at nearby. Lovely Orthodox architecture. And some interesting catacombs. Of course if you don't like history or churches, then maybe this isn't the place for you. At the very least you can... More

This church is another example of Kiev's Orthodox churches. It situated at the beginning of Andreevsky Descent (Izvoz). Not something spectacular.

A surprise for me to see this statuesque land mark. It oozes History hard to comprehend. Amazing architecture that humbles you. An integral piece of Ukraine history, definitely worth a look.

I honestly find there is nothing to see here, i don't get the hype. Kiev in general has some cool architecture all over the city, If you happen to be in the area, great, otherwise it is nothing special really. Looks like many others in the city

Lovely looking church in central Kiev easily spotted if walking around, although we didn't go in and restoration work was going on worth stopping to admire the architectural splender.

This church is under construction and not sure when it will be completed. Lots of artist around the church as well as the street in front of it selling all sorts of souvenirs. All the vendors spoke English and took US dollars

Another beautiful church, but currently under renovations. It is said that this is where Saint Andrew put down his cross and said would be a great city full of churches, turns out he was right.

We thought that restaurants elsewhere..like Musafir, Oliva, and Chachapuri, were more interesting than the food offerings on this street. But it is scenic and worth a short stroll. Begin from Andrew's church and walk down.
