be sure to take a local translator. An incredible ornate church that is worth the stop to visit and an Orthodox guide is most helpful.

A stunning interior to this cathedral with as expected gold and paintings. Remove hats when entering and as expected not to speak too loudly.

One of the most unique cathedrals of the city: its color combination and its architectonic style are really special. It’s near the main city centre

To get the full historical significance of the artwork inside, it's good to have a guide who can tell you about the history of St. Volodymyr and his family. Fascinating insight into Ukrainian cultural background.

Like a lot of the Byzantine churches in Kyiv, this one offers up amazing architecture. But at night is where it really shines. Simply stunning.

We stopped in here since it was right up the street from our hotel. Lovely stain glass windows. Visited in the evening while a mass was being said. Will return during the day to see what the stained glass looks like with light streaming through.
