Came here by an accident and was really pleased with this beautiful architecture. It's really tragic what happened and it's important for us to remember, so it never happens again. Recommend everyone to visit it if you are in the area.

This memorial is quite haunting. On approach you hear the soft chimes of the bells that lure you closer and down into the museum. Inside is an account of the Soviet Ukraine induced famine of 1932 and 1933 at instigation of Mr Stalin. There is...More

Stark, moving monument commemorating the millions of Ukrainians that were starved to death during the collectivization campaigns Most heart rending is the statue of the small undernourished girl with her big sad eyes

I was deeply moved by my visit to the Holodomor memorial and museum. The exterior monuments are interesting to take in and thought provoking. The museum itself (down the stairs at the base of the memorial column) is small but informative. If you're a non-Ukrainian/non-Russian...More
