Nunnery is a specific place, it is not a simple place of attraction. We go their to attend the sermon, to give notes with the names of our relatives who are alive or who have passed away to be prayed for. We buy candles and burn them near famous icons. This cathedral is dedicated to St Pantheleimon who was a... More

It's amazing to look at but you cant really enjoy it as it's forbidden to sit on the grass and you need to find one of the few benches. the landscape is absolutely amazing and so is the nunnery architecture.

Wow, I do not know how to even begin to describe this. Look at the photos. The garden is magnificent, clean and well organised. It has a majestic calmness to it. I liked it even in winter, though I guess it is even more beautiful during summer. Go there by metro to Universitet and then marshrutka 548 to the end... More

The view of the nunnery was pleasant, lots of place to sit down, well landscape and no problem with strollers. We were there during the family week-end and there was a grill fest (which was really good). The bus 458 from Ipodrom is dropping you nearby the entrance (3-4 mn walk). Finding the way to the nunnery is not that... More

To start with, I like Feofania Park that is located in the suburbs of Kiev, it is very green and lovely. It is not a surprise that all newly married couples go there to make nice photos. St. Pantheleimon Cathedral is also hidden in this park among the trees. It is clearly visible and easy to find and you feel... More
