You pay entrance fee - we paid for everything but didn't see the point. Pay to get into the grounds, pay for the bell tower and you can visit the cathedral. The other buildings, no need to visit, wasn't that interesting and not related to...More

Built in XII century and named after daugher of Yaroslav Mudriy, it makes a part of Aqrchitectural ensamble of Sophia square. I recommend to visit this important Historic landmark of Kiev, you will learn more about this beautiful City.

Absolutely beautiful use of gold and frescoes inside. This is a very tranquil religious spot. The entrance ticket is good for Saint Sophia as well

I don’t think so, we were told it would shut at 6 pm if I recall correctly.

Closed Thursday, open Friday through Tuesday 10am till 6pm, Wednesday 10am till 5pm
