Due to the nature of the lake, which is in fact a crater of a super volcano that erupted hundreds (if not thousands) of years ago, the rock formations below are no less than magnificent! There is one special place to dive where there are several statues... More

This place was beautiful. Had good food and the best view. You need to do your best to go here and spend the whole day here. Was one of the most relaxing days of my trip. Highly recommended.

We ate lunch at Restaurante Mirador 70 which has the best panoramic view of the lake. The thing that interested me about that lake was that is a volcano crater filled with water. It... More

You can rent a boat for a reasonable price, and spend 40 minutes going around the lake. Our guide was very friendly and shared with us some great folk tales as well as local gossip. Good way to spend an afternoon.
