An extremely interesting tour with stacks of info about the canal and its history. Through the locks and into the Pacific. Apparently only 1% of the worlds population has been through the canal so that’s me ticked it off !

Our Group traveled to the canal and witnessed a ship passing through the locks! I was encourage to learn that Panama expanded the locks in the mid 2000’s to accommodate larger vessels.

Lovely tour of the Panama Canal system. It does take time as the boat must wait for a larger boat to enter the canal at the same time. We started after 8am and ended after 2pm on this day. You should bring a layer of...More

Writing a review on the Panama Canal must be an impossible task. Surely by now every superlative will have been used to describe this awesome feat of civil engineering. If this is not on everyone's bucket list, it should be put there immediately. Not only...More

The partial transit is plenty for most travelers. The whole experience is a curious blend of sightseeing, group activities, bus riding, boat riding and the like. Pleasant and interesting guides to explain the history and construction of the Canal. Going through the first step in...More

No, the Centennial bridge is a modern highway bridge that many, many cars use daily. It was finished in 2004 and is the second major roadway across the canal. We saw it on a canal tour, so we sailed under it and I do not... More
