There is nothing to share, it's just the feeling when you cross the only bridge that connects South and North Americas.

Lovely view while crossing this bridge. You can see the ships waiting their turn for canal. A very busy and interesting view.

It was cool to drive from one side of Panama to the other. You MUST have a GPS here, Hertz didn't give us one and said to use Waze but it didn't work well and half the streets aren't marked. The drive was beautiful though.

Indeed it is just a bridge with lots of traffic during rush hour. We just enjoyed the view of the canal, Ancon, and the ships rather than focus on the traffic. Let the Uber driver maneuver the traffic. You will see street vendors selling all kind of things in the middle of the street during rush hour. Our resort was... More

This bridge is the beginning of the Pan American highway. It is very impressive. It goes over the canal entrance

The steel bridge was constructed in the early 1960's to increase traffic flow between the two land masses of North and South America, crossing the Panama Canal, on the Pan-American Highway. It's an interesting design using a tied arch in the centre and cantilever spans at either end. Unlike other bridges over the canal, at the time it was built,... More

They are building third bridge but it's multi years away from completion and is closer to Colon. It was the first bridge built to connect the Americas and still the primary road North and South it connects Alaska to Chile.

It is a steel bridge that looks impressive and crosses the canal and links the north and south which in itself is quite significant.
