We are a family of 5 with 3 children under 8 years old. We rented a 5-seater "bike" from Burke Bikes, which is located near the playground. It was a beautiful Sunday and we rode along the causeway enjoying views of the city, Bridge of Americas, the boats and many pelicans. Many other families were also enjoying the day there.... More

There are different reasons to visit the Amador Causeway these days. The expansion of the strip to four lanes has created new spaces to ride bicycles, walk, run or just have a nice stroll. The Causeway has public bathrooms, photo stops and some restaurants at the end of the road. It is better to visit early in the morning or... More

The Amador Causeway was constructed from the rock taking out of where the third "canal" has been built. Shops and Duty Free Shop at the end. A Boat lovers dream with all the large boats/yachts and sail boats in the marina.

The trip along the causeway is very nice with water on both sides. There are lots of restaurants in the area, but be prepared to be overrun by tourists. Shopping is all geared to tourists. Go for the view. Take a bike trip along the causeway in good weather.

If you're not familiar with very long bridges, this may be more spectacular, but what I really enjoyed was everything happening on either side of the causeway - all the waterfront restaurants, exercise lane, places to cycle, rollerblade, etc. And the best part was reaching the marina where we spent the day on a charter to The Pearl Islands.

Great views of Pacific entrance to Panama Canal with restaurants and location of Panama Canal Transits. Don't miss this trip. Excellent walking and biking path with rentals. Somewhat of hub and easy to access and go other places. Driving in Panama City can get confusing and everything is easy to access from here. Learn the road Corridor Sur from airport... More

My partner and I loved renting a double bycicle from Moses Bicycles (1 block from BioMuseo) and riding across the causeway. Note, the covered bicyles may offer some shade, but their weight will require you to peddle/work quite a bit more. Some notable suggestions: Eat at Mi Ranchito, get your ticket from Moses Bicycles stamped, there appears to be a... More

Went to the Culebra research centre. It was small but got to see sloths. Made the few dollars to enter worth it. The biomuseo was overpriced however and a disappointment for the cost ($18)

Fun rides in bikes, places to eat, get ice cream and so much more! You can get by public bus and also there is a museum to visit or where you take the boat to go to Taboga. I hope this area don't become overly pricy but some people says that used to be cheaper but now is very tourist... More
