If you want to get a little exercise and get out of the traffic and smog, this is one way to do it. With Panama City on one side and the Canal entrance on the other, walking or biking the causeway is scenic and fun....More

A safe area for a walk, easy to get to with some reasonable restaurants. Probably the safest place in Panama City to cycle or go for a run. Good views of the entrance to the canal, shipping and bridge.

Beautiful views, fresh air, plenty of restaurants and little cafes. You can rent bikes and enjoy riding along the water. A must-see when visiting (and living!) in Panama.

Nice to spend a few hours walking along the causeway - great views of both the canal and the city skyline. Shady spots to sit and rest/relax/read. Didn't go to any of the restaurants or bars so can't speak for them.

To my knowledge there's not general wi-fi available on the Causeway, but I'm sure you could always use the wifi of the restaurant - perhaps at most you may be asked to order something. Hope that helps! Enjoy Panama - it's a... More
