This was a walking shopping slash food tour. We loved it and tried a seafood rice dish that was so tasteful. Can't remember the name of the place but it was right by where they had the statue.

Would have liked much more time there to get around to the shops and bars. I was on an escorted tour and they selected the shops and places we saw. Nice! A mix of old and new.

Very mixed area with high end apartments and restaurants mixed with slums, beggars and the homeless. Be careful where you go or walk if you do not know the area.

Lots under rennovation but a fabulous small historical quarter with great restaurants. Enjoying wandering the streets and taking in the architecture.

Most houses within casco viejo are currently undergoing restoration so most of it feels like a construction site (with the usual colorful remarks being made when women walk through a construction site) The parts that are done are really nice old houses with a lot...More

We used Uber for each taxi ride. Excellent rates between 3 and $5 for 4 people.
