The meticulous reconstruction of old buildings that are literally propped up by beams is underway. See it before it turns into Cartagena with the hordes of tourists.

This is the original Panama City, Panama. This place seems to have it all, unless you come to Panama looking for a mall. Narrow streets, restaurants from cheap to somewhat pricey, several stores, and yes even a hat shop. It is worth walking through. Driving...More

It isn't a must but quite nice. It has many cute coffees and little shops. The part was once ruined and now it's getting nicer and nicer. Also you have a very beatiful view from there over the skyline of the city.

We love seeing CV over a period of years as the roads are bricked and the old structures are repaired. The street art is always a favorite of mine.

Very nice place. Many original buildings, together with buildings, where many local live now. All in one mix. Many cars go through this streets, no entrance prohibition for cars. No dislikes, interesting place, many cafes and restaurants, good prices in USD.
