It’s hard to deny that the Multiplaza is what gives Panama City its luxe shopping and entertainment reputation. The wide, squeaky-clean corridors with luxury store after store on either side, stretching for miles in any direction, are nothing but stunning and admirable. I loved the diverse selection of retailers for all shopping types and budgets, the food options were spectacular (see my review for “Paul,” the brasserie/bakery place!), and the staff were kind and committed to adhering/enforcing COVID rules. It was a joy to spend time there. However, let’s talk about signage. I can’t count how many times I got lost. It sometimes became comical, and I would laugh to myself. Yes, the mall is MASSIVE, giving off Mall of America or Dubai Mall vibes. But it was challenging to find any overhead signs to point me to, perhaps...”food court”? “Banks and ATMs”? Or at least the Spanish translations of that? There WERE signs, but they were small, unclear, and mostly ineffective to me. I could just be directionally-impaired in enclosed spaces, but please do reassess your signage infrastructure and clarify, enlarge, or rework the language on your existing signs to make the walking experience easier for visitors. I know you can do it! All in all, I can’t complain too much, especially considering 99.9% of fellow visitors were masked here, compared to 75-80% in the US malls I’ve been in. Temperature checks were also in place, by the way (bravo!). My experience was memorable and incredible. Thank you for maintaining and hosting such a gem of a place in Panama!…

From Japan to Europe to the US, this is the best overall Mall that I have visited. Yeah you can go to only a high end stores mall or one that has more food options, but overall, hard to beat Multiplaza. It is huge with wide corridors and great stores. You will find the brand name stores and the more affordable stores. There are coffee places set up for an afternoon relax time, there are a ton of food options (restaurants and food court), movie theater, and I have never seem a mall with so many sports stores like this one. It has a parking structure but if you are visiting, just take Uber, it's much better and faster. Like a previous review, there are "no dollar stores" here, but there are plenty of affordable stores, and not only the super expensive brand names. It is a great place to go even if you don't feel like shopping. Great place to eat, people watch, have coffee, etc. If you go to a Gucci you'll pay Gucci prices, if you go to an Adidas, you'll pay Adidas prices. Nothing out of the ordinary. If you have just one day to shop in Panama, this is it. If you have two days, this is it also.…

We visited the Multiplaza on a recent stop in Panama City - and though we purchased little, we did find an amazing concentration of retail options. The plaza is huge, massive, as big a mall as I've ever visited. Three levels high (maybe four in places) and filled with big and small stores. There are countless food options as well. The Multiplaza has both super high-end and "regular" mall stores. My wife commented that many USA brands that no longer have stand-alone stores in the United States are still stand alone at the Multiplaza. Two downsides: There is little "local flavor" in terms of either retail or food options. In some ways, the Multiplaza is more American than many American malls. Secondly, walking to the plaza from our hotel - we literally felt like we were tempting fate as Panama City is such a pedestrian "un-friendly" city. TIP: Take a cheap cab if you go to the Multiplaza…

Huge mall with loads of expensive stores and restaurants. The food courts host’s fast food as well. Plenty of transportation nearby and it’s very clean here. As I implied there are no dollar stores here so bring your check book.
