35cents for one journey makes the metro exceptional value but the station ate not really on a tourist route and very limited. You need to buy a $2 card first and then put it back in the same machine to charge it up with funds....More

Very clean, modern and quite inexpensive ($0.35 for a ride). Easy access to Albrook Shopping Mall, if you want to shop til you drop.

for someone who is here only two days, buying a $2 card and use them only 1-2 times is not worth it. the stops are not exactly at the tourist stops either

I understand that Panama has only 2 lines so far but is very cheap and fast. Clean because it is new and relatively safe even for tourists. It is functional and well lit. A sign of a quickly progressing city.

Line 1 is great, line 2 will be opening in a year or so. Easy to use, modern and efficient. I stayed at a hotel near one of the stops. So convenient!
