This is a well designed activity center (museum is an aggressive description) with about a dozen fun things for kids (2-12). The pretend banking center has a real tube system like a bank drive-thru. My kids really enjoyed the pretend grocery store too.

I came here with my nephews and they absolutely love playing and there's a lot for them to do. They also run special events which are a hit. However on the adult side it's not as much fun. First of all there's a fairly hefty fee for adults (last I went $8 per person) and second it's a bit of... More

We were in the area (we live south of Portland) and wanted to let the kids get out some energy before continuing our trip. We looked up places, and found many 'good reviews' of the Children's Museum so we thought this would be a good place to go. Right from the start, we regretted going at all. This place was... More

I bring my grandkids here when I want to take them somewhere that is affordable for me and fun for them! There's lots to keep them busy and their imaginations can run wild. The set-up is nice...different areas sport different themes...construction, an office, a cafe, a grocery store, a stage for plays...and so on and so on! It's really geared... More

Perfect for children under 7. Different areas for roleplaying. Recently updated but quickly worn down, for the cost of admission I would expect it to be better maintained. Rather annoying that adults and children have to pay admission. They do offer family memberships, it saves money if you visit often.

Our Family of 4 went we had a 1 and 3 year old. I will start with the good... the kids had a blast. Buuuuttt... Right off the start it's hard to find because turns out it's stuffed into a little shopping complex. The adults are charged an entry fee, i was surprised by that. The play space is one... More

This is a spot best for children aged one to eight or nine. Over a dozen special areas--with a pretend restaurant, pretend supermarket, a reading loft, arts and crafts, Lego and railroad tables, a small aquarium, full-size construction loader, a place for puzzles, a climbing area with a tube slide and a stage with dress-up clothing, etc. It can be... My young grandkids...ages 1 to 10, really have fun here! They love all the sections and can let their imagination soar! We had a birthday party there and the kids loved it. A great place to take young kids for a fun break from the house. Also, a good play-date location!
