Ego Alley refers to a channel of water which extends from the bay into the heart of downtown Annapolis. Very popular with boaters. Common practice is to run your boat up and down the channel either just to check out the scene, to be seen,...More

Lot’s to see on Ego Alley. Big boats, bikini clad cigarette boats (my father in law’s favorite), and food too.

The name should give you a hint...if you are looking to see a line up of some beautiful boats, depending on who is there, this is your spot-but the name does say it all...sometimes not the most friendly open people are there....

This is a perfect place to end a walking trip of the Historic Annapolis District. In summertime, a balmy breeze comes off the water to cool down hot days, musicians play nearby, little kids feed the ducks and many different yachts are docked there. It...More

you will have to walk this area if you go here just to see the massive boats, and ships that come in here. The view is awesome from the circle in town.

Find a place to sit and watch all the people and their boats. The yachts are beautiful. The water is gorgeous.

Apparently this is where people who own boats, and other seafaring 'toys' drive their vessels up this channel which comes right into Downtown Annapolis where people sit and eat ice cream or just 'people-watch'. A great place to be.

Boats come in to be adored; but the turnaround is to small to accommodate large boats. Save your energy for the shops nearby. If you are a painter, stand at the end of the wharf and paint to your hearts conent.
