Grab an ice cream cone and walk the boardwalk to enjoy boats of all sizes. Sit on the seawall and feed the ducks. Take a boat cruise at the end of Ego Alley. Window shop or stop at one of the sidewalk cafes, people watch. Many times there are antique vessels that can be boarded and explored in port. Evening... More

This is a fun and active area to eat and to shop as well as take a cruise on the water. There are some giant boats that are showing off their good stuff in that area. Great to watch the sailboat races. Also the sperry store is there, great foods, ice-cream, recycled authentic sail cloth bags, along with good bars... More

I promise, you probably have never seen so many sailboats and yachts in one place. Spring and Summer are absolutely the best time to wander down the alley. There is a vibe that is indescribable. Must. Experience. People eat at nearby cafes with happy leashed dogs at their feet every weekend. It's heaven for casually cool people of many varieties.... More

If you're voting problem exceeds your drinking problem this is probably where you were going to bring your craft show it off. You'll see some pretty nice boats if you hang out here on the sunny day.

It's a scenic dead end waterway surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops that is always full of people. There's a nice boardwalk that surrounds the marina and leads to the Naval Academy. There's street musicians and performers on days with nice weather, but the real attraction is the boats that come down the waterway to simply turn around and be... More

Annapolis is a historic town that sits on a harbor but it's not Boston It's aligned with Yachts that are worth the walk down ego alley but not much to do unless you go out w a tour boat that I can only imagine it showing you the bridge from the water!?!? They did have a free tour of an... More

At the foot of Old Annapolis lies Ego Alley, a small "canal" that comes from the harbor right into waterfront Annapolis. All around are great restaurants and pubs, along with shops. A great place to spend an hour...or a day...or many days.

We walked aroung the entire permimeter of Ego Alley during a very warm afternoon in February and were surprised to see how many boats were still in the water. Such a mild winter has left a lot of sailboats still in the water and with the warm afternoon, it was very tempting to get near the water.
