Wonderful. It is almost 3D. The paintings draw you into the events and you become part of history. Well presented, narrative and history unfolds before you plus more printed history facts behind you on the walls as you progress through. Staff are so helpful

This circular painting that merges into the foreground shows a very realistic portrayal of Fletchers mutiny on the Bounty and the subsequent settlements on Pitcairn and Norfolk Island. It is accompanied by boards telling the historical details of the voyage and settlements and a soundtrack....More

This is well worth a visit. The paintings tell the story of the Bounty mutineers, their journey to Pitcairn Island, & their descendants arrival on Norfolk Island.

Apparently this rates as one of the top 5 attractions for the region on Trip Advisor. This seems a bit surprising up against such places as Sydney Opera House, the Barrier Reef and Uluru. However it is an excellent piece of artwork depicting the saga...More
