Must See

Excellent tourist presentation as seen through the eyes of Emily Bailey. The history, the vegetable garden, the home and most of all, the great guide. Worth visiting.

This is a tour of George Bailey's homestead. It is as if the Bailey family who lived and worked here in 1890s had just walked out of the house. Everything is in pristine condition. George was a blacksmith and his tools and forge is still in operating condition. This is a step back in time. You are driven around the... More

This was probably my favourite tour on Norfolk Island. We spent nearly 3 hours touring around the property and learning what all about the past settlers of Norfolk, in particular Emily Christian who came to Norfolk as a 4 year old girl with the first settlers from Pitcairn. Our host, Dinti(not sure of spelling) was a wonderful guide with a... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Pitcairn Settlers Village which is located next to the famous Cyclorama. The lady who drove us around to see the gardens in the 1928 T Model Ford also took us through a Settler's cottage and a most interesting museum including a blacksmith's forge.

Beautiful and very interesting tour, our guide was very knowledgeable and made our tour in the T model ford so exciting with the tales about the food grown on the property, topped off with a cuppa at the end.

It all was very interesing. Watched a movie, looked at the old house which was so structurally strong. Had a drive around the gardens and shown how they produce their produce. The vechicle we drove around in was a very old model.

A very informative guided tour of an original homestead and buildings, with the history related during the whole tour. Includes a short drive in a 1928 Model A Ford "tourist bus" and viewing of the vegetable gardens. Covers many aspects of the Pitcairn way of life and history. Hosts were very knowledgeable with some humour! Highly recommend this tour.

A very interesting visit to this lovely museum area with house, storage area, working blacksmiths shop and other buildings. The host was delightful and very thorough with her information. The ride in the 80 yo tour bus was a real treat.

Our guide Rick was excellent. Tour operates Wednesday and Saturdays both morning and afternoon. Tour starts with a talk about Emily Christian arriving on Norfolk Island with her family and other descendants of the Bounty mutineers. You take a tour of the grounds in an old 1928 A Model Ford, Norfolk's first tour bus. You then leisurely wander around viewing... More
