A really fun way to learn about how Chocolate is made. Interactive, for all ages. I was worried it was going to be too touristy but it was the right balance of learning, play, and of course tasting chocolate in its many forms.

We had a lovely time making chocolate with Joslene! The class was super informative. We learned a great deal about the history of chocolate making, and the Mayan culture. We enjoyed tasting chocolate during the process from the beginning to the end. We also made a really nice candy bar and were able to decorate it with many different toppings. I highly recommend this tour. Would definitely do it again on another trip.

What a fun and informative class! The “instructor“ was knowledgeable, funny, and quickly engaged the entire class that made us feel like a family! I thought I knew chocolate but I found out so many things that were new and fascinating… It really changed my view on chocolate, enhancing the appreciation of what goes into any chocolate made on earth.

I would give it seven stars if they had them. So fun for my wife and 24 year old daughter!

I cannot recommend this enough.

So much fun! This was a great experience and we learned so much about the whole chocolate process. Our hostess was informative and funny and kept the tour rolling by engaging all 14 participants, who were from Oklahoma, Colorado, Detroit, Canada, Ireland, Austria, and Australia! We made and sampled 3 chocolate drinks and took home a chocolate bar that we made as a souvenir of the tour!

This tour of the end to end life of the cocoa bean was amazing. It was two hours but went by so fast. We got to see and taste the cocoa bean. Then got to roast ourselves and make a paste and then actual drink hot chocolate made from our beans. Also at the beginning we got to make our own chocolate bars that were ready for us when we left. The tour was run by Jocelyn and she was amazing. She was so knowledgeable but also knows how to make it fun. Our group included people from all over the world and she helped make us all feel welcome. We have done lots of chocolate tours and this by far was the best we have ever attended. I really feel like we understand how chocolate goes from bean to bar. Highly recommended.

The chocolate class took 2 hours and was probably my least favorite thing in Antigua. The time can be better spent elsewhere. Best part was pouring chocolate they melted earlier in the class over toppings I picked.

Loved how friendly our hostess was and the entire experience was centered on teaching rather than selling a product. She made us feel welcome and made sure everyone in a 16-person group had fun. I completely recommend this for anyone who is visiting Antigua, Guatemala. The chocolate is also amazing.
