this was an interesting building on the outside to see and take pictures. I didn't get inside the place. There are some good restaurants close by

I do not believe that tours to see inside are available not not. If they are I´d go. It is a piece of history so get a photo and move on. There is a lot to see and do in Antigua.

they must point out or paint the parking areas. They charged me Q 250 for parking with flashing lights and they tried to bribe me and the cops that should not be done with the visitors. The line was not well marked and was for...More

A very long, elegant building with numerous arches built in 1558 that was Antigua's government center until 1773. It occupies one entire side of the central plaza, so you can't miss it. Those who enjoy admiring historic architecture will be most impressed.

The Spanish architecture in this little town is so beautiful to look at. I could sit in the plaza and look at multiple buildings that were different, but beautiful. This was once that was very well maintained.

We came across this when we visited the Central Park on our walking tour. Busy place bustling with people selling their wares in the arches. Great old architecture in a modern city. Glad to have seen it during our walking tour with Erwin our guide.

This building is on one side of the central plaza. The street is normally roped off so it is easy to walk through and photograph. You will be here anyway if in Antigua, great shots with lights on at night or standing on the street...More

The palacio borders Central park and is one quadrant of the square. It is a beautiful piece of architecture and it is illuminated at night. A great place for photography; locals, vendors, tourists and always something going on in this busy part of town.

It looks amazing during the day but be sure to return at night to see it lit up. Also climb to the second floor for wonderful views of the Cathedral and park which was lit up for Christmas!
