I enjoyed seeing this cathedral both at night and during the day. After dark it is lit up beautifully and is very majestic. Inside is a little disappointing compared to the outside but it is worth a visit.

If you are short on time/money/interest in ruins then the cathedral ruins are the ones you must see. Right off the side road from the central plaza these are really beautiful and photogenic remains representative of, but more impressive than, others you can visit

Step through those beautiful handcrafted wood doors and you will be awe struck by all the beauty and history on the other side. Do not go to Antigua without visiting this majestic cathedral!
