The carvings and stainglass were beautiful in this renovated, old cathedral. We were even privileged to view a wedding while there. There was a children's orchestra playing for the wedding and a number of other activitiesoing on in preparation for Easter. A must see.
The main facade of the church is amazingly ornate with statues of popes and angels. The inside is pleasingly plain. However, for a small donation you can enter the ruins. Those powerful arches, open to the sky are really beautiful.
Outstanding outside especially in the evening when illuminated. Inside simple but nice. Did not find anything with special interest but still worth of visiting. In front of the church is an excellent site to follow the parades of Semana Santa !
