The temple is an interesting part of the palace. Interesting to see a Sphinx. One ticket can get you into the temple, the cathedral, the bell tower, the baptistery and the crypt. All well worth seeing.

Jupiter's Temple has been transformed by Christian church in Baptistery of St. John . Here you can see a statue of St. John, statue made by the Ivan Mestrovic, some sarcophagi and one of the black Sphinx brought by Diocletian from Egypt. It's worth visiting

Buy the all inclusive Cathedral, Baptistery, bell tower,... combined ticket rather than buying a single ticket for this

Fortunately, we purchased the combined ticket to get into the paid portions of the palace because this (and the crypt) were just a waste of time. Skip the combined ticket, come to think of it. All you might want to see is the church.

The temple is really beautiful from the outside. inside you can see a small room and a statue of Jupiter God. Next to it is the smallest street in Split ( let me pass )

Surprise inside to see the deep baptism pool where people were fully immersed with the priest also in the pool. Hidden away with Egyptian statue outside. Next to the smallest street, one person wide. Beautiful polished stones worn down after years of feet.

Cheap to enter only one room although great for a visit. Statues and carvings are great for pictures.

We are amazed by the history this Palace has to offer. Right across the cathedral, the richness of the roman architecture here is truly impressive.

Not an awful lot to see once you are inside, so if you don't have the big combo-ticket, you may consider not going in.
