This is a beautiful park just on the edge of the city, easy to access and yet still very natural and rugged. Definitely recommended for the amazing views and the peace and quite, a perfect escape from the touristy madness of Split.

Climbing the hill gives you the opportunity of seeing the best views of the area. There are a number of routes which can take you straight to the top or round to the far side. We tried to cover as much of the area as...More

We walked up on a rainy day . Top tip theres more bus stops for route 12 than you think . Very pretty woodlands with tracks or easily managed path ways . If weather had been better would have explored further but still a good...More

We rented mountain bikes to ride throughout the park. It was very difficult to find (we didn't want a guide) and it is VERY hilly around the park. The park itself is right on the water and that was really cool. Other than that, it...More

This history here is inspiring. it over sees the whole beautiful city. It's a free thing to Do and would make a good sunset or sunrise activity. One of my highlights. It's not too difficult a walk to get to the summit so everyone must...More

It is a bit of a hike to get up here, but SO worth the effort. You don't have to climb beyond the first lookout to get an amazing view of the area... Pace yourself and go!

Personally I think you should walk up the hill. A bike is not suitable as it goes up and up and up. Look at Google under marjan. For best views and incredible sunset go all the way up......

There isn't a bus or train service to the top. You have to be prepared to climb many steps from the end of the Riva. Takes about 40-50 minutes.. totally worth it. Uber is an option though.
