Take an Uber to the top of Mt. Srd and back down when you are done. The line for the tram to get up and again down we’re horrible the Sunday sunset we were there. It was about half the price to take our group...More

There is no better experience in Dubrovnik than going up in the cablecar in the latter part of the afternoon (say 5pm), checking out the view in the day time, seeing the war exhibition for an hour or 2, then having a drink beside the...More

If you don't have a car - this is the only way to get up the top of the mountain to see the view of the entire old city and bay. It's expensive but well worth it.

Went up about sunset and the views from the top are fabulous. Nice little restaurant at the top although we didn't eat at it. It was a bit of a wait as you'd expect but the heat wasn't too bad at that time. I wouldn't...More

My 6 year old loved it but I agree with the reviewers that say it is overpriced. It’s a brief and crowded ride to the top with a gift shop and a restaurant, a beautiful view and no other activities. You’re just up there for...More

Maybe we chose the wrong time but went up in the evening. About €300 later, a family of 5 had a 4 min spin up and down (about €90) and some food at the top that was ludicrously overpriced ( just over €200 in case...More

There is no avoiding the obvious, this is very expensive for a two minute ride to a small museum, a viewing point and a buggy safari. We bought tickets the day before travelling and had to wait in a fairly long queue thanks to cruise...More

The ride is quite short and takes you up over Dubrovnik old town. Seeing the city from the top is unforgettable experience, the views are amazing. It's good to buy tickets in one of the points on the way to cable car, as at the...More

Fast and efficient way to the top of the mountain that sits directly behind Dubrovnik. Once you're up there you go oh wow that's a nice view and might only stay for 10 minutes max. For this privilege we paid 550 kuna (£58). Over priced,...More

We arrived at admittedly peak time 7pm hoping to catch the cable car up to the top for sunset. A very long line alongside a busy road awaited us with an estimated wait time of 45 minutes. Fortunately a local taxi driver saved us from...More

Hi Peter. It seemed to vary on the cruise ships. Early is best as far as I could tell. We went there twice between 9 and 10 and the queue was small ( ie only wait for one car). When you get there it’s a bit confused in... More
