We all stumbled across this museum by accident and we were so pleased we walked through the doors. It was only in the early 90's and so many people lost their lives for what? It brings home to you the futility of war. A chilling and moving experience.

This room in the Sponza Palace was not on our list of things to do during our two days in Dubrovnik - like other reviewers, we came across it by chance. It's a single room, centrally situated and there's no charge for entry, a combination which probably means (I'm guessing) that more people visit it than visit the bigger museum... More

Shows the futility of war. The damage done and the excellence of repair if you visit the same places round the city

Call in and learn about the brave men of Dubrovnik who lost their lives in the war. There are pictures of those who lost their lives and some historical facts.

This is a room full of photos. Each is a fallen hero from the defense of Dubrovnik. It is sad and tragic to see so many young faces especially having teenage boys myself. Everyone should pay a homage visit as their sacrifice made it possible to enjoy being a tourist in this wonderful city.

Stumbled upon this by accident, but fascinating and equally horrifying reading. You tend to forget how recently all the fighting in this area took place. The narratives and the photos bring it home.

Everytime I go to Dubrovnik I am compelled to go to this place. It is very thought provoking. You can see what the town went through in the recent troubles. I recommend you to go even if it is just to show how well the town has come back from such devastation.

I knew very little about the attacks Dubrovnik experienced. This gives a very persona view with photos of so many who lost their lives.
