Walking the walls of this fortress was incredible. It’s sometimes hard going with the number of steps, but the view are amazing. Hats off to the residents who have to navigate the steps on a daily basis! You need a good hour to walk the...More

My family walked the walls 30+ years ago, before the war. It was exactly as they always talked about, but with wounds of the war apparent with new roofs and bullet marks still peppering the old town. Walking around the walls you get an impression...More

It's probably best to walk the walls in the early morning or late in the day (as we did) since it's very hot and feels like it's all uphill. Fortunately there are several food/drink stops along the way to refresh and revive.

Great views for fans of GOT and those who are not. Whilst not the cheapest, worth it to see the city in all its glory.
