The walk is about 1 1/4 miles. There are a fair number of steps to climb up, down, and back up again. It is popular so expect crowds and slow moving people taking pics and selfies. Give yourself over an hour; more if you take...More

The views are amazing! Everyone should do this. It costs 150 kuna but if you go to the Fort, save your ticket. That costs 50 kuna and they will deduct that from your ticket price at the city walls so you only pay 100 kuna....More

This has to be experienced to even comment on; so amazing. The history, the views, so beyond words. It definitely is strenuous so if you’re not up for a challenge, don’t start but if you’re physically able, it’s absolutely worth doing

To walk the wall cost 150 kuna. To get a 3 day card costs 250 kuna with wall included. It also gives you 6 bus rides so if you stay outside the walled city it is a no brainier. Also with 30 per cent off...More

The walkway is busy and densely populated with other tourist, but the photo opportunities are the best. It is both uphill and downhill so it is not just a walk in the park.

This is so worth the 150 Kuna. A tough walk up and down steps but the views make it worth while. Beautiful views and would recommend this to anyone whose able to deal with the steps.

My wife and I recently visited Dubrovnik and did a tour of the city walls. This was a repeat of a tour we did about 14 years ago. Since our original visit most of the ancient city has been repaired after the war of the...More

It is a fairly long walk and not so good for those who cannot manage stairs, albeit small flights mainly. Great views and places to stop and have refreshments if required. I would definitely recommend this place.

Recommend a guided tour otherwise you will miss the historical information. The 150kuna for wall entry fee, great idea for maintaining and preserving the city which is run by the citizens of the city and is a non-profit organization. Great views, wear comfortable shoes, some...More

150kn may seem like a bit much to walk the walls, but it is also one of the primary reasons to visit Dubrovnik. There is no better way to see the Old Town. I recommend going earlier in the day as it does get very...More

You can pay by credit card or visa debit, so you don’t necessarily need Kuna. However, I’d recommend bringing Kuna for buying drinks etc throughout the day as not all places accept card payments.

No, there is no information as you go along, in common with most places in Dubrovnik. There are various guides to buy at Tourist Information shops both outside and inside the gate.

We found the buses (from Lapad / Gruz) regular and cheap. You want a bus heading for "Old Town" / "Pile Gate". The buses stop right by the main gate / entrance in to the Old Town, which is also where most people buy their... More
