All the stairs can be intimidating but it's well worth it! The views from every nook and corner is amazing. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

The history of the walled city is overwelling when you consider some of the history is within my lifetime, which is documented on some of the walls and the roofs replaced from the bombing. The ability of those who built this city and it walls all those centuries ago and it still functions as a living community and tourist spot.... More

Spectacular views as you walk these ancient city walls. We were lucky to be off-season as we heard that the crowds make this a slow-going experience. We strolled at our leisure, snapping away as we turned each corner. Definitely a highlight of our visit!

Walking these ancient walls was so worth the trip. It was so much fun, and every step you take brings you to another magnificent view of the city and ocean. So much history and so much beauty. A MUST DO IN DUBROVNIK!

It's the best way to start your exploration in the old town. Spot all the places you want to visit laster from the walls. Complete the entire walk, the first half has scenic views of the ocean and the second half will walk you through the narrow lanes orange roofs of the city.

To me, this is why you visit Dubrovnik. To see the ancient walled city and what better way to understand why it's called the Pearl of the Adriatic than to walk the fortress walls that were originally walked by armed guards to protect the city. Yes, it can be crowded and pricy but it's worth it and there are tons... More
