When entering, it's like you are being transported back in time, or on a set of a romantic movie. It's stunning. We're here in May and it's mayhem (no pun intended) so cannot imagine what it's like in the peak season. Also quite pricey to eat & drink. Water fountain provides clean water so only need to take a bottle.... More

Calling it the filming spot for game of thrones doesn't do it justice. The most well preserved and beautiful city I've been to in Europe.

The Old city is not Old in any way. It has all modern feel with ancient look. Must visit when in Dubrovnik.

Dubrovnik old town is a beautiful walled town with narrow picturesque streets and a pretty harbour. May was a good time to visit as we missed the thousands who arrive on cruise ships later in the year. It is a very 'touristy' place but even that does not detract from the incredible atmosphere the old town has.

There are little restaurants everywhere - up alleyways, by the harbour, in the various little squares and on the main street. Some of the shops were open on the Saturday evening but it was early in the season so there may be many more open at night as the summer season gets going.

A beautiful old town with lovely architecture, a wide road straight through with lots of narrow side streets leading off. Lots of tourist shops some better than others. Many cafes and restaurants to choose from, great to sit and people watch with a cocktail.

I am the type of person that decided to go on a trip based on pictures I saw in Instagram. I know Dubrovnik is beautiful and I have high expectations of the city, but the place is surpassing my expectations in every angles. This is the city that indulges all my senses with view which does not require any filters,... More

What an incredibly well presented place to visit. Although as well documented it can be over run when a number of cruise ships are in port. There is so much to see and enjoy. Although highly geared to tourists it's "not in your face". The cleanliness throughout is another redeeming feature. So much history and sights to see and also... More

Just as beautiful as everyone says. Thankfully in low season it's not too crowded or to hot. It's almost as expensive as London though.
