Beautiful place with stunning scenery and quirky restaurants but very expensive ! £10 for a Vodka & Tonic and £5 for a side order of bread....that's just a couple of things too. Take plenty of money if you stay in this resort.

This is a nice beach area with plenty of restaurants and a scenic walk way that goes around the headland with great views.

This was 10 min from our apartment. The beach waas clean but a little busy at time and the sunbeds were an extra cost. In terms of location if you were out for the day it meant that you had everthing you needed really close buy

Lapad is a small but beautiful little place 10 mins car trip from the old town. Through the day there isn´t that much to do so advise take full use of the trips to Bosnia, Montenegro, Elaphite Islands etc. At night the place is alive with bars and restaurants, deffo check out Marios Sports Bar for friendly staff.

When deciding to visit Dubrovnik and researching hotels etc.. it seemed Lapad was the place to base yourself, as this was where most of the hotels were and only a short bus ride into the old town. Views across to Gruz, the suspension bridge and the cruise ships, walking round the harbour and trying the various bars and restaurants, the... More
