Located on the port side of the old town, this impressive structure is home to the maritime museum (see review) and the aquarium (not our thing). the walls are amazing thick, probably due to being the main defence of the port. This also an entry...More

It is beautiful in the daytime, but really stunning when lit up at night. Amazing to see and if you're a Game of Thrones fan - say no more..

What an amazing experience! It was fascinating to see the fort, but more importantly, the view from the fortress. I loved it.

One can conveniently visit this as a break on a tour of the City Walls. The fortress houses the mritime museum which is interesting and worthwhile. Probably the best museum in town on the history of Dubrovnik.

The Maritime museum inside the fortress was quite interesting. It is a nice point halfway along the city walls (if you start at Pile Gate) that you could stop off and look in as a bit of a break.

Nice good ice cream at the main entrance 😊 I regret I didn't experience the walls during the night.

Houses the nautical museum. This gives perspective to the different era's as well as The Republic's history. Excellent!
