The ancient Roman amphitheater is very well preserved even though it is over 2000 years old. It reminds me of The Coliseum in Rome. It is sometimes used as a concert venue. It’s a beautiful arena and must not miss.

This is the second largest Roman Colosseum in the world. Quite impressive. Well worth a visit. When we were there in April that was street parking available. You do need Croat coins (10 Kuna) for a parking slip if you park in a spot with...More

Worth a visit as this is one of just a handfull of amphitheaters left standing in the world. We stayed at an apartment next to it, and by chance there was a concert of a local hero scheduled that evening. Interesting experience.

We drove down to Pula to see the amphitheater and a couple of other ruins. The amphitheater itself is in surprisingly good condition for 2000 years! Unfortunately we were not on a tour and there was no audio guide, though the ticket lady told me...More

Pula Arena is surely a great amphitheatre to visit. It is the only remaining Roman amphitheatre in the world where three levels of arches (two levels of arcades and one level of rectangular openings), four side towers and all three Roman architectural orders are still...More

If you have been to Rome or Verona before you will have seen Roman amphitheatres before. They each offer their own unique experience and Pula is no exception. It is smaller than the 2 above but is still incredible. We drove to Pula and were...More

It's definitely worth the price of 25 kuna for student and 50 for adult. The place is very well preserved and you are able to walk around and sit on the stairs.

Wonderful experience; culturally eye opening and very beautiful. We were handed a pamphlet upon entry which contained information on the amphitheatre and it's history and uses. The gift shop was very affordable and gives you the opportunity to take the memory home with you.
