The arch is surrouded with appartments in the middle of a commercial street. Still well preserved. It shows the craftmanship of the roman builders. Few minutes to look at it is ample.

Amazing , you will find everything you need there , bars shops all of it, and you feel you are getting drunk back in the ages, but buy your own water from a kiosk as water is more expensive than beer in bars & caffes

Maximum time nearby is five to ten minutes. Looks old, but not very special. I don't have many words to say about. Really (but tripadvisor needs 100 symbols...)

One of the most interesting roman remains in Istria and very well preserved. Located in the pedestrian city center, very easy to reach.

The Arco de Sergi or Golden Gate is one of the remnants of Roman architecture in Pula and was erected between the years 29 and 27 BC by the Sergi family. You pass through this gate into a narrow and lively shopping street. Interesting but nothing great

It's so strange, you're walking down a market Street and then suddenly the arch is there, with people in business being carried on all around it it stands tall and beautiful

This arch is the focal point of a large square leading into the main shopping street of Pula. The monument was at street level when built in the First Century BC by Salvia Postuma Sergia in memory of her three brothers. The small arch still has fluted Corinthian columns, swags of laurel roping carved above them, and a depiction of... More

No only it is a nice Roman structure in unusual setting but it also marks the great part of the town, standing at the beginning of the best shopping street in Pula and tree-lined chill out square.
