I never went inside Kastel, but there are small makeshift trails all around the outside of the Kastel that are worth exploring for great views of Pula and the Adriatic. They're very easy to find and it's a great place to watch the sunset! One trail connects to the Small Roman Theatre.

If you are fun of history or attracted to see history you can find here two museums, one is Historical museum and other is Maritime museum. If not it is also pleasure to see just this old Castel and great view from there on Pula, and Pula's port. Also in the summer here are many concert or theater on open... More

The fortress is what you would expect. It does not have much to look at on the inside - some small exhibits about WWII and a touchscreen interactive kiosk. However, the views are amazing.

The old fortress on the top of the hill in Pula is 'okay' its nothing standout. It does offer probably the best view of the city but there is not much more of the castle to be seen by paying for entry that can't be seen from the outer walls. Nice spot to walk up to but probably not worthwhile... More

The fortress is way atop the hill and does not offer many attractions (besides a museum). It does give a beautiful panorama of the whole city and is definitely worth visiting at least once for pictures and relaxation.

Very nice 360 degree view of the own from the top of the fortress. The building is not very attractive.

A good place to visit in your trip in Pula. Beautiful view from the top of the castle to the Arena and the city. There was not much explanation in English in some of the halls.

Take a leisurely walk to the 16th century Kastel situated on the hill in Pula. The place is full of history, with an observation tower for even better views and an excellent exhibition on the rise of the anti fascist movement in Yugoslavia and the Partisans contribution to WW2, resulting in some being sent to the death camps. An opportunity... More
