OK, not sure why this is listed as a separate exhibit as it is located inside the Kastel fortress. I wouldn't really call this a museum, but rather exhibits in the Kastel fortress rooms. The biggest exhibit was about WWII. I'm sure WWII buffs would...More

Tito was a savior to the Istrians, after the Italians had given up on Istria, and the Germans moved in; it was Tito who came to unite Croatia with the south. Throughout Croatia we saw other signs re. the high regard of Tito.

WE had no idea this exhibit was here and were pleased to find it, interesting history of the wartime experience of Istria . We were a little confused on timelines but still found it interesting.

This is one of those places for the historians or military minded people. I enjoyed it and so did my family.

It costs 20k for adults and 5k for kids. The views across the town rooftops and harbour from this Venetian fort are worth it alone. There's not much else there but it's worth the walk up the hill.

This is based in the fort and is apart from some pictures and small exhibition is about the Austrian navy from the 1870s to about 1900 when the fortified Pula as a Naval base. The fort is good though.
