Overview
More
St. Lawrence Church was built in the second half of the 18th century for purposes of the Franciscan Order. On the church facade, which ends with a gable, a profiled portal with a humble Baroque transom can be found. Placed in the tympanum of the lateral entrance is a small sculpture of St. Lawrence from 1720. Across from the church is the Franciscan monastery from 1650. Its main building is Foscolo's Palace, the nicest example of housing architecture representing Sibenik from the 15th century.

This church has a beautiful space near it for quiet reflection where there is a Mary statue in a cave. There is also a cafe which is perfect for the walk down.

It is interesting that in the middle of the Sibenik with many tourists going everywhere, you can find a place quiet and relaxing, even if there are more people. The cafe is quite good and the plants offer a nice decoration. Another surprise from Sibenik.

Great place to take a break from wandering around the city of Šibenik. Prices are good, place is really nice, you can grab a bite there, only bad side is pretty slow service.

The beautifully restored monastery garden has a spacious, shady modern cafe with excellent food. A great place to relax on a hot day.

We literally spent hours here just relaxing in the sunshine over a cup of coffee. This is such a serene place and the cafe is excellent.

A small beautiful garden, with plant names, running water and an excellent cafe. Girls serving helped us with information on local beaches too.

Old building, the church was actually built in late 18th century and the Monastery was built in 1650. However, they are placed in beautiful setting, beautiful quiet garden. Both were closed but was a great stop to enjoy a break from the sun. Top 10...More

This 17th century church is not open on (at least not at all times). Out back is a well kept garden with a variety of plants and flowers.

A lovely herb garden with adjoining cafe next to the church. After climbing the many flights of steps up from the promenade it provided a welcome rest- well worth a stop. Coffees cost about £1 each.

Hidden in steeply alleys of Šibenik old town. Oasis of peace and beauty. Just perfect to enjoy coffee in church garden. Must see for everyone who seeks for cultural monuments.
