When joined the church - look on the left wall in central area - impressive and absoutely unique wall-painting - funeral procession for bishop. Look who are in the line - alive and ghosts together. With candles which are on the edge between real and mistic world, strange face of young priest turned to us - as longer you will... More

Very beautiful, atmosferic, local, authentic and with really Armenian spirit (I know I have Armenians in family). Recommended.

The entrance on Krakivska street is almost hidden next to a money changer where there are often large queues. There are hardly any people of Armenian ethnicity left in the city of Lviv. Their fate resembles that of the original Polish population of the city that was driven out in 1944. Their houses were taken by outsiders during the Sovietisation... More

One of the most beautiful churches I have ever visited and I now use it as a benchmark for all other similar buildings I visit on my travels. Nowhere has beaten it so far . . . . .

Whenever I come back to Liviv this is the first place to go. This church has a magical atmosphere and a rich history. The paintings on the walls are just stunning and I always feel a little thrill watching them. Highly recommended!

The church by itself is just beautiful. However, the true feed for a soul !!!!!!l is a singing of the pastor. We were in luck to hear him singing a pray as a sample of Armenian liturgy for one of the visiting groups. It was the most peaceful song we ever heard. Do what ever is necessary to hear him... More

Get there early in the morning. The church will be quite, and you will have a chance to walk around. Stop at the entrance and look above, to see the painted ceiling. You will never forget it again

From this church, we learned history, culture, religion, architecture, and more. It is hidden in a small street with a very humble door. But inside it is beautiful and large. There is a clear border between the old part and the added ones. There is an obvious geometric optics factor in the construction as we witnessed the sunlight on the... More

A beautiful and wonderful church and highly recommended. You can't take photos inside as is the case with just about all the churches in L'viv. A fabulous place to just sit and admire both inside and out.

Thank John H
